Jack Chambers was born in London,
Ontario in 1931. After travelling in various parts of the world
and an
extensive time spent in Spain studying art he returned to Ontario.
His work changed fairly significantly towards
what he termed "perceptual realism" at around the same
time (1969) that he was diagnosed with leukemia.
Over the next nine years he produced a remarkable body of work.
There are very few resources
in print on Chambers work.
