AlexColville was born
in 1920. He spent his much of his youth in Nova Scotia.
During World War II he served in the Canadian military as a war
artist. From 1946 - 1963 he
taught art at his alma mater Mount Allison University in New Brunswick.
He now lives and
works in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
